Allow for the use of local *.fdf file execution, with config types giving download locations or servers for the files e.g.:

Additional Idea:

Using fdf sync to sync back to the server, or if they are using GIT (as well) to then manually sync between both.

Maybe including git-like updates for non-git syncs such as update messages? Or just create local repositories on the server?
